“I had my first trip to the USVI in May and I had never snorkeled in the ocean before, and I figured that Snorkel the WetSide would be a great option for two main reasons: the number of remote beaches that would not rent snorkel equipment and the assurance of having quality snorkel gear no matter what.
“They were absolutely great from the beginning to end. We were able to easily arrange picking up the snorkel gear within a tight timeframe from landing on St. Thomas and catching a ferry over to St. John. The gear was all amazing and much better than I would have been able to rent at the beachside rental shacks. We were given several options for sizing of fins and masks, and were given a great overview of how to use/take care of everything. After that, we were able to take our snorkels everywhere and never had to worry about anything until it came time to return them, which was just as easy as they were able to meet us where we were staying on St. Thomas at that point.

“We recently visited to the Virgin Islands for the first time and especially were looking forward to a great snorkeling experience with our 4 boys ( ages 17, 13, 12, 9) The experience with this company was outstanding all the way around. Their website was easy to navigate and sign up for our needs including a follow up phone call reaching out to us to confirm all was correct. Once, there, Steve and Robbie reached out to us upon arrival and met us at the Airbnb we were staying at and fitted us all with the correct sizes and also made sure my boys all understood how to use everything properly. (They even shared a list of their favorite snorkeling locations with us!) They also checked in on us to see how our first day with our gear went, which was very nice. “ In January, we rented equipment from Snorkel the WetSide for myself, husband and adult granddaughter. The equipment was delivered directly to our villa as scheduled. We were all given fittings (she had brought a couple of sizes) so we were confident we had the correct sizes and were given lessons on correct use of the equipment. “What pleasure to rent snorkel gear from Snorkel the Wet Side on St. Thomas! High quality gear arrived clean and on time. And the price was amazing! We saw other places renting inferior quality masks and snorkels for the same daily price as Snorkel the Wet Side, but the snorkels were little more than child's toys. Renting these masks, snorkels, and fins for our entire time at St Thomas allowed us the freedom to visit different beaches without having to worry about who used the equipment before us, or how everything was going to fit. The mask and fins were super comfortable, but the high quality snorkel ensured easy breathing without worrying about water getting into the mouthpiece. It even made diving below the surface easy.
